Crystals for Depression, Grieving, and Letting Go of the Past

Aquamarine is a stone of release, a powerful cleansing stone for the emotional body. Aquamarine helps one free oneself of attachments to old patterns, relationships and ways of being. It is very soothing and helps you let go of the past, clearing the clutter within your mind and bringing clarity.

Smoky Quartz is a wonderful grounding stone. It transforms negative energies into positive ones, elevating moods and relieving depression. It helps you let go of old patterns and belief systems that are holding you back. It helps release all the blocked, old and stagnant energy in your body. Once released, new energy is able to fill all the open space with light and hope.

Lepidolite is the Mental Balancer Stone which can be used to reprogram the mind from depression to joy. It is a stone of transition and helps restructure and reorganize old patterns. It can also decrease anxiety and stress.

Apache Tear is just black obsidian that is very dark but transparent. It is often called the "Grief Stone." They are quite powerful when dealing with the loss of a loved one. Keep in mind that the transparency may cloud when using to absorb negative energies, but once the grieving is over it should clear up again.

Citrine is quite a sunny stone with its amazing yellow colours. It can help you develop a positive attitude and encourages you to go with the flow. It reminds you to let go of anything from the past that is making you unhappy. Citrine promotes the enjoyment of new things and experiences. It's also one of the two stones that never need to be cleansed, as they are a natural self-cleanser.

As with any and all stones, I always recommend adding a Clear Quartz to the batch. Clear Quartz helps amplify other stone's properties as it is known as a "Master Healer."

Also keep in mind that these stones are in no way, shape or form a substitute from seeing your health care provider. If you need serious help, please don't hesitate to visit your doctor.
