The Stone of Unconditional Love

History:

Properly named the Heart Stone, Rose Quartz may have been used as a love token as early as 600 B.C., and it is still an important talisman of relationships. Rose is very effective in attracting new love, romance and intimacy, or in developing a closer bond with family and friends.

It connects to the Heart Chakra, healing emotional wounds, fears and resentments. Rose circulates a Divine loving energy throughout the entire aura, and reawakens the heart to its own innate love, it provides a deep sense of  personal fulfillment and contentment. This can allow you to truly give and receive love from others.

Rose Quartz inspires the love of beauty, in oneself and others, in nature Even things that stimulates your imagination--art, music, and written word. It is also the most common variety of the Quartz family, it is found un abundance around the world.

Purposes:

Rose Quartz is known as a mothering crystal which inspires nurturing of the self if one has lost their own mother. It also promotes bonding and is a great stone to place on the stomach during pregnancy. You can also take it to the hospital to be near the baby during birth; it also is soothing in the days to follow.

As a stone of love, tenderness. and sensuality, Rose Quartz is a powerful aphrodisiac and stimulates sensual imagination. It is also a powerful sleep crystal for adults and children and provides you with beautiful dreams and prevents nightmares and night terrors.

Rose Quartz is great for using against trauma and crisis as it is a calming and reassuring crystal. Even through a mid-life crisis. It helps strengthen empathy, sensitivity, and aids in the acceptance of necessary change. Use Rose Quartz to help you comfort  grief.
